Brighten Initiative is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing dignity and well-being by providing essential hygiene products to individuals under circumstances not allowing them to have proper hygiene products.

Our story

Brighten Initiative was founded by Hersh Gandhi, Suganth Natarajan, Shreyas Mavuleti, and Videesh Veeragandham with one simple mission: to make basic hygiene accessible to everyone.

What began as a student-led effort has grown into a community-driven initiative supporting underserved families through hygiene product donations, community partnerships, and educational outreach. We believe everyone deserves to live with dignity, confidence, and access to the essentials they need.
